Creating forms that evolve
Through variations on the theme of nested telescoping forms, I set out to push the limits of additive manufacturing.
Each form begins as a compact set of nested layers, which grow and transform into surprising forms when the individual pieces slide past and lock into one another.

Through iterative CAD models and 3D prints, the final version of this design was realized.
